Nội dung  Ví dụ về chiến lược của các cơng ty tồn cầu.  Sứ mệnh và chiến lược.  Chiến lược quản trị vận hành trong bối cảnh tồn cầu.  Lợi thế cạnh tranh thơng qua vận hành.  Mười quyết định chiến lược vận hành.  Những vấn đề trong chiến lược vận hành.  Phát triển & thực hiện chiến lược vận hành.  Những lựa chọn trong chiến lược quản trị vận hành tồn cầu.
  3. Mục tiêu  Xác định được sứ mệnh và chiến lược.  Nhận biết và giải thích 3 cách tiếp cận chiến lược để cĩ được lợi thế cạnh tranh.  Nhận biết và hiểu được 10 quyết định quan trọng trong quản trị vận hành.  Nhận biết và giải thích được 4 lựa chọn chiến lược vận hành tịan cầu.
  4. Bài tập nhóm: Anh chị hãy mô tả và giải thích sơ đồ “Mô hình chiến lược điều hành” của Schroeder. Vận dụng mô hình trên để xây dựng chiến lược điều hành cho một doanh nghiệp cụ thể.

Chiến lược điều hành là gì?  Operation strategy is a strategy for the operations function that is linked to the business strategy and other functional strategies, leading to a competitive advantage for the firm  Operation strategy should be guided by the business strategy and should result in a consistent pattern in decisions [Hayes and Wheelwright (1984)]
